Conceal and carry with confidence.

My experience with firearms began when I started shooting with my dad as a kid. He gave me the tools to feel empowered, confident, and safe with a gun in my hand. I aim to teach those same skills to you.

Whether you want to learn to shoot for a hobby or for self-defense, my approach is very calm, relaxed, and patient. You’ll never feel rushed. I’ve taught my own kids to be comfortable with guns, so I can relate to the younger demographic.

Online courses are available. We provide gun rentals and can travel to your location for class.

I've always had a life long passion for firearms. I joined the Navy at 19 and became a Gunners mate. As a Gunners mate, I  helped train and qualify all the ship's security personnel on all the small arms and crew-served weapons we had aboard, including the m9 service pistol, M4/M16, m500 shotgun, M14 rifle, 240B machine gun, and the M2 machine gun. After I left the service I decided to become an instructor to help pass along the knowledge I was able to learn.

Growing up in the '60s and '70s, my father taught me gun safety and responsibility. I enjoy people, and passing on the importance of the issue of defending yourself means a lot to me.

Coming from a family that hunts, I have always been around firearms. Safety has always been the first and most important thing that is taught. I continued my firearms education in the Marine Corps, learning different weapons from pistols to crew serviced machine guns. While in the military I learned a lot about the tactical application as well as marksmanship. Since I've been out of the service I saw a lot of people were not comfortable with firearms and had a huge misconception about those who carry or enjoy sports shooting. For the last 4 years, I have enjoyed being able to help people be more proficient and comfortable with how to safely use firearms.

I work nights as a transportation driver for Dayton Freight in Roseville. I live just north of Milaca about 70 miles north of the twin cities on highway 169. On my time off I’m outdoors or shooting at a range. I am now an instructor for Crow River Firearms Training. I do about 95% of my live fire exercises outdoors to make it easier for communicating. I also do one on one for those that don’t like large groups.
